Greg Clark has more than 50 years of international experience across industries including space, finance, IT, communications, and media. He has managed large technical and commercial operations and served as a board member and chair for both public and private companies.
Greg is currently a member of the board of directors of NEXTDC, and served as a director of ANZ Banking Group for ten years. He spent fifteen years in the IBM Research Division in New York, and later served as the Director of Telecommunications Strategy at IBM Corporate Headquarters. He also established the IBM Research Division Laboratory in Australia. He served as the President of Technology for News Corporation, as well as the President and COO of Loral Space & Communications. Dr. Clark advised Apollo Global Management on the acquisition and subsequent sale of INTELSAT, as well as other space and technology transactions.

Greg was CEO and Vice-Chairman of Knowledge Universe, a closely held $500M private equity firm dedicated to improving the formation of human capital through better education. Knowledge Universe invested in and acquired education technology companies, and included Larry Ellison, Rupert Murdoch, and Michael Milken.
Greg’s expertise includes government policy, and he was a member of the Australian Prime Minister’s Science Council for ten years. Greg holds Australia’s highest civilian honor, Companion in the General Division of the Order of Australia (AC), for his contributions to innovation. He is an Honorary Professor at the Australian National University, a Fellow of the American Physical Society, a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science, and recipient of the Einstein Medal
