Will Berryman is a transformational executive with over 20 years of C-level experience, including roles as CTO, COO, and CEO. He has led large-scale digital transformation, turnaround, and growth strategies across global media, communications, and tech-managed services. Notably, as CTO of SBS, he spearheaded the broadcaster’s shift to digital, negotiating over AUD$3.5 billion in contracts. Later, as COO at Technicolor Digital in London, he helped pioneer the digital media services sector, growing a division from 120 to 3,500 employees and leading major M&A efforts for clients like BBC, NBC, and Disney. He also co-founded Four Cross Media Fund, investing in tech ventures in India and the U.S., and helped transform it into To The New, a major Indian tech company.
Returning to Australia, Will turned around Hostworks as CEO, leading its successful sale, and later founded Will Berryman Consulting, advising clients like Prime Media and Ashe Morgan. He helped restructure and sell Rising Sun Pictures and served as an executive leader at the Royal Institution of Australia, where he expanded Cosmos into a global digital science platform and orchestrated its sale to CSIRO Publishing. With a background in economics and psychology from the University of Sydney and corporate finance training from Princeton, Will began his career in science journalism, winning the Prime Minister’s Prize in 1996. He has held roles at Nickelodeon, Fox, and the ABC and is also a musician and composer based in Sydney.
